Perma-makeup?

Did you know that you can get your makeup tattooed on? Imagine not having to wake up every morning and have to worry about putting on makeup!

Well I don't think it's that good (which is typical for me considering the fact that I love waking up every morning and applying) Where has our spirit gone ladies? Where has our passion gone? The websites that advertise permanent makeup say that it's for the 'BUSY' woman. Translation? The lazy woman.

Some of the benefits:
ºNo application required
ºWake up with makeup on
ºNo smudging

Some of the disadvantages:
ºNo application required
ºOnly lasts 5 years (pffft...and they say it's permanent!)

ºun-able to apply different makeup
ºUm, hello? your wearing the same face for 5 years or less....

I wouldn't recommend perma-makeup. It's as unnessasary as perma-shoes, or perma-clothing...

Do you comb your hair properly?

Lots of girls think that they comb their hair right, but yet, they still get lots of split ends.

If you Brush your hair:
ºI would not recommend brushing your hair alot, it's fast, easy, and damages lots of hair
ºIf you do brush your hair, NEVER brush it when it's wet

If you Comb your hair:
ºInstead of using a tiny toothed comb, use a big toothed one, it prevents breaking
ºComb at the bottom, and get out the knots gently(don't pull...even if your frustrated, relax and do it slowly)
ºI wouldn't recommend combing straight out of the shower, but if you have to...be gentle..
ºComb from the bottom, to the top

Don't damage your hair just because your being impatient with your hair, it will come back to bite you right in the ends.

Painting your nails, Some tips

Painting your nails can be incredibly hard. My worst set backs? hitting my fingernails on sometime when I think their actually dry, when their not!

My best advice for painting nails is you have to have time! Not running out the door still applying!!!

When painting toenails:

ºBe prepared to wait around for a little while
ºWalking is only recommended if you can walk with your toes spread out really really far!

When painting fingernails:

ºBe prepared to wait around for a little while
ºWalking around is fine, but touching things isn't a good idea, you might forget

When painting both:

º I wouldn't recommend this because of how bored you'll probably get waiting for both your finger nails and toe nails to dry.

When you paint either one of your nails you should try to brush up and down instead of side to side. This is better because when you brush side to side your more likely to get nail polish on your skin.

What nail polish is in?

Definately OPI nail polished are always in, but they can be really expensive. Some cheaper brands are:

ºSally Hanson HARD as NAILS Xtreme Wear (very good for bold, eyecatching colours)
ºN.Y.C
ºRevlon
and other drug store specials

Also, what to do if your favorite nail polish becomes sticky, gross and unusable:

Pour a little bit of nail polish remover into the container, put the wand in and mix it up. This nail polish remover will break up the nail polish and make it new again. Much better than buying a whole new one!

Hairs too shiney but your practically late? No problem!

Are you in too much of a rush to get in a shower?

Trust me, I know what your going through....it happens to ever girl.

Your just about to go somewhere and you realize that your hair is greasy looking. This might be because you, have an oily scalp, got something in it, didn't wash it, etc.

Don't freak! Just check around for an old bottle of baby powder and sprinkle a bit in your hair. Not only will it make your hair look less oily and more clean, but it will also give it a nice scent!

Don't have any baby powder? Use some kind of powder that wont be harmful to your health or scalp, and invest in some the next time you make a trip to the drugstore!

Why waxing is the best!

I just started waxing my armpits instead of shaving at the end of august. I was probably the best decision of my life!!!!!

Okay so sure it hurts more that shaving but so what.
1. It only hurts for a second, then the pain goes away
2. If you bleed it's a good thing (which trust me, that will probably be the only time in your life that you will hear that sentance). Bleeding is a good thing because that means that your never going to grow that hair back again, when that happened when you shave, it just means your shaver sucks or you suck at shaving....which is better?
3. It lasts longer. It might not seem like it at first but after you do it again it takes longer and longer to grow back.
4. After a while, your hair wont even grow back (can you imagine?)
5. It only hurts the first time, is quick and painless.
6. It is good for you if shaving hurts. This is why I started, shaving sucked.
7. No more 4 oclock shadow

and many many more.

So ladies, start getting waxed. Too scared to get your armpits done? Get your eyebrows, or legs. Trust me...you wont regret it:)

What comes first? The lipstick or the lip liner?

Ever wonder what comes first? The lipstick or the lip liner?

When I asked people what they thought comes first every single one of them said that it was the lip liner. That's right huh? WRONG!

Actually the thing that always should come first is the lipstick. You actually supposed to put the lipstick on and apply the lip liner after to prevent lipstick bleeding.

Tips for lipstick and Lipliner:

ºDon't line over your lips (this should be a given, but I just want to remind people!)
ºDon't ever get a darker lip liner than your lipstick, it looks gross.
ºIf you can't get a shade that matches exactly go with a shade lighter and blend a little
also...
ºIf you don't have any lip liner to help prevent bleeding, apply some concealer with a q-tip above your lips.

If your out and are wearing lipstick:

ºRe-apply every once in a while (it fades easily)
ºLick your teeth a little more often, just incase you might have some on your teeth...So embarressing!!!
